Architecture and Science Library
Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú _ Lima, Perú 2011_Contest presentation drawings with Barclay & Crousse This project reaffirms the continuity of a campus which has become cluttered by nearly 100 years of additions and changes. It becomes an extension of a main campus axis and captures the flow of students with a spiraling ramp which then becomes classrooms and the stacks of the library. The parametric design of the façade regulates shade and views to provide favorable conditions for various activities such as reading, group study, and lectures. It also serves to present a cohesive appearance to varied functions. Links:
